The
Cromwell Start meant an initial climb up the 1:5 Hind Street Lungbuster!
The Marshalls deliberately chained off part of the car par exit, so that people had to funnel out. ( Hind Street gets steeper and very narrow at the top, so there was bound to be congestion) Unfortunately many dived under the chain, so the huge group climbing the hill came to a grinding halt after a few when a few had to stop and stagger!
