The Chris Bennett 300Km is now an Audax calendar event.
The date for 2013 is 27th April. Cycle from Newton Abbot to Polzeath
in memory of Chris and in support of Devon Air Ambulance.

	2012: The 300Km ride set off from Seymour Road Car Park in Newton Abbot at 6am. The weather was cold with steady rain! The first leg took in the A382 to Moretonhampstead and on to Whiddon Down for some early breakfast. After ringing out it was a ride through saturated muddy lanes, against a northerly headwind up through Great Torrington and on to Bude for a quick supermarket lunch stop. There were some sharp climbs around Week St. Mary before the coastal run through Delabole to Polzeath.
