Giants Chair - 15/02/09

When
the rest arrived there were 32 of us in the farm shop café, which struggled
a bit with the coffees and teas. Afterwards 19 souls carried on up the
climb past Haytor on and on past Bonehill Rocks, with scenic views across
snow covered tors. Some missed the turn to Bonehill, and passed Houndtor
to get to jays Grave. At the Giants Chair there was about a foot of
hard snow still on the track, - some trudged up with bikes and some
on foot. Ian and Paul were brave enough to climb the chair, and after
team photos, a small snowball fight ensued.
